jessicarlo.blogspot.com - iOS 7.1 beta 3 is currently being tested by developers for quite some time now and what we has come to the fore is the fact that Apple has made a very good decision regarding the deletion of OTA updates.
Usually, when OTA updates are downloaded on an iOS device and installed, the IPSW remains on the phone memory without an option to delete it consuming valuable space that wasn't enough in the first place.
Now with iOS 7.1, there is now a way to delete the downloaded firmware after the installation or even when the installation didn't happen.
The feature is buried in the General/Usage menu of the Settings option. There you would see the OTA update and you can delete normally as you would delete any other application or file.
This is a welcomed development and especially useful to those that changed their mind to do OTA updates after downloadin the file.
We believe that there are features that would be seen in the new iOS 7.1 when it finally get released to the public.
