Lemon, lemon, lemon. Are you a fan of lemon? We are, too.
Today, we tackle Trader Joe's Meyer Lemon Cookie Thins.
According to Trader Joe's this is an "old world recipe" without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
A 9-ounce box cost $3.99.
Also, 9 cookies = 130 calories. Here's where my mind went: I can eat 18 cookies for 260 calories!!!
Please tell me your mind went there, too.
My take: My first impression of these cookies is from the scent; it's heavenly. If you've ever picked up a Meyer Lemon in the grocery store and taken a big ol' whiff (yes, I'm *that* person), that's what you'll get here. The cookies are thin, crispy, delicate, crunchy, full of citrus flavor...and absolutely addictive. Ethereal.
Overall rating: 5 of 5 stars
Kiddo's Take: Sweet. Lemony. Buttery. What else can I say?
Overall rating 5 out of 5 stars
