For all intents and purposes, as good a version of Sega's classic Daytona USA on a phone as we're likely to get. Maximum Velocity DayToNight XL is highly playable, great framerate and clipping (Saturn Daytona fans rejoice!). Sharp graphics and best of all, the courses are lovingly reproduced interpretations of Daytona's famous originals and are equally well designed. Slightly puzzled as to the lack of local leader boards and the campaign could do with a bit of tweaking, but in reality this is the best 69p I've spent in a long time. -Tom
Touchscreen controls are spot on. It's nearly 3am here now and I'm still whizzing around tracks on my Moto G. My only request would be to support immersive mode on KitKat and above so I can have the glory in full screen. -Charles
Maximum Velocity DayToNight XL takes me back to the Dreamcast days. It would be nice if the screen flipped because my hands covers the speaker on the Nexus 5, and it would be good if the accelerate and brake buttons were able to be moved. -Leighton
